Where will Sip go?
SIP loves exploring our stunning country, but travel over 30k outside of Hawke’s Bay will come with a travel fee.
SIP is a compact 5mx 2.2m Caravan, which means she has some limitations on where she will go- steep driveways are no-go! If you have concerns just give us a call and we’re always happy to check out the site before confirming a booking!
Does Sip sell Alcohol?
SIP doesn’t sell alcohol. We offer a bartending service, so you bring the drinks, and we serve them! This way, you get to choose the beverages, save some money by buying directly, and we don’t need an alcohol license on our end. Its a win-win situation!
Does Sip remove the empties?
Due to limited space in the caravan we require you to provide recycling facilities for guests empties. We recommend spotting these around the venue to assist with clean up!
How long does Sip stay?
SIP will stick around for the duration of your booked package, with a minimum of 4 hours.
SIP arrives 1.5hrs before service starts to set up and takes 1hr to pack down afterwards-this extra time is on us, free of charge!
what can Sip cater for and how do we book?
We are available for private events such as weddings, parties and corporate gatherings. Please contact us for more details on booking and packages.

How does Sip keep our drinks cool?
SIP has her own fridge, but we suggest renting a chiller trailer to pre-chill all the drinks before the event, located nice and close to where SIP will park. No one likes to crack open a warm one!! If you have any questions, just give us a shout!
Does Sip come with Power?
SIP requires mains power for her lights and fridge. She comes equipped with her own 15m outdoor extension lead and a rubber lead cover to help minimise trip hazards!
If there is no mains power to the site, SIP can bring her own eco flow battery generator for an additional fee.
What happens if we have to cancel?
Once you have booked in your date with SIP and paid your deposit, that date becomes unavailable on the calendar, it is reserved just for you! In the unlikely event you need to cancel your booking, the time frame for a refund is as follows;
If cancellation is 6 months prior to your booking, a full refund will be issued. A refund after this time frame, depending on the notice period will be left to our discretion.
can Sip do table service?
SIP doesn’t offer table service. Guests love to come up to the bar, check out the menu, have a chat to the friendly SIP Staff and order their drinks!
We also encourage guests to use the recycling facilities for empties and do ‘boomerang’ glasses. But at the end of the event SIP staff will do a final sweep for any glassware before packing up!
What beverages does Sip cater for?
Basically SIP serves what you provide! She happily serves Wines, Beers, Bubbles, RTD’s and non alcoholic beverages such as coke and juice!
At this stage SIP doesn’t have capacity for cocktails, but she will happily serve up your basic mixers!
